Rayleigh’s Lost Heritage
Did you know that there are plans to demolish one of the few remaining ‘manor’ houses in Rayleigh?
Rayleigh House, situated in the High Road by Great Wheatley Road was built in 1873. The developers plan to replace it with a building ‘in the style of’ but internally it will consist of 14 flats.
The application goes before Rochford District Council on 24th September 2009.
